Central Passage
Ephesians 3
Study of the Book of Ephesians

Paul was wiritng the letter to Ephesus from Prison.  He had been imprisoned by the Romans, due to the accusations of the Jewish religious leaders.  But Paul's real imprisonment was by something far greater.  He was a prisoner of the cause and calling of Christ.

He was passionate about the cause.  He was captivated and motivated by the cause.  Nothing was more important that to being a minister of the Gospel and especially the mesage of uniting of Jew and Gentile in one body.

We are all impassioned by something.  But what are you impassioned by?

Shouldnt we all first and formst be passionate by the Love of God for us, and our love for him.

Paul's passion was to tell all men about the the mysteries of God and of Grace.

Are we passionate about what God would have us be passionate for?
