Pickens County Realeased Time is a Bible Education program offered to students of Pickens County  public middle schools.  It is operates under the umbrella of Pickens County Christian Learning Centers.

The Released Time Program being hosted at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church  is for the students at R.C. Edwards Middle School.

Released Time is a cooperative ministry supported by individuals, and local church's in the surrounding community.

Released Time offers the opportunity to teach  puclic school students the Bible and introduce them to them to the person of Jesus Christ.

Students are transported off school property to Pleasant Hill and they are taught the Bible as an elective course with parental permission

Beginning this coming fall of 2017 Pleasant Hill and Pickens County Released Time are planning to begin offering a full schedule of six classes.  This would allow as many as 84 students to attend per semester.  To do this we need help from other church's and individuals in the community.

You can sponsor a child for $25 a month, donate towards paying off the recent aquisition of a bus, or simply make a donation of any amount of your chosing.

You can donate by clicking on  Donate or by visiting

It is a wonderful ministry that has been 17 years in the making for the Central/Six Mile area.
