What I Have Noticed ch. 12:Work and Preparation Until the End
May 11, 2020, 9:25 PM

Hey Y’all, Jonathan McGary here with Pleasant Hill

And this is another edition of what I have noticed.

As I have been studying and preparing for my next part in Prophecy and Promise Series from the book of Revelation and I read again about the Rapture:

The Rapture is the event that will mark the end of this present age, the church will be taken out of this present world and the 7 year Tribulation period will be ushered in.

II Thessalonians 4:16 - 17 says this

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

And This is what I have noticed:

There are some that have never heard about, and therefore do not know about the coming of the Rapture

There are some that have heard and do not believe in the coming of the Rapture.

There are some who believe, but aren’t preparing for the impending coming of the Rapture.

There are some that believe, and are trying to hold on until the coming of the Rapture.

But Christian, we are to be preparing and working towards the end until the coming of the Rapture.

We must prepare and work because the fields are ready for harvest - John 4:35

We must prepare and work because the night is coming when no man can work - John 9:4

We must prepare and work because God the Father and God the Son are working until now, and we must be about what God and His Son are about. - John 5:17

Those that have not heard, are in need of being told.

Those that do not believe are in need of being persuaded.

Those that don’t believe Christ is coming soon, need to be alerted.

Those that are just trying to hold on until He comes need to be encouraged and exhorted.

The coming of the Lord and the Rapture will happen as a thief in the night...and it is going to come in the twinkling of an eye.

In other words it is going to come quickly, and people are going to be caught unprepared and unaware.

The Rapture is an event to be looked forward to and longed for.  The Apostle John closed the book of Revelation by saying - Even so come Lord Jesus.

The Verses that Paul wrote in II Thessalonians were written to the church to be a comfort

II Thessalonians4:18 says: Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

But we can only be comforted when we are personally prepared and doing all we can to prepare others for this coming day.

So I ask you this, are you personally ready for Christ to come and the Trump to sound?

And If so, what are you doing to help prepare and encourage others?

If I can help you or answer any questions, I hope you will reach out to me or someone else  that  know you trust.

I hope that God will bless you and grant you comfort and Joy as you look to Him.

I pray that God will give you the strength to work and prepare until that time that He comes.

Until next time I hope you will remember that I love you,

and that more importantly God loves you.

Keep your eyes on Him!
